Principal's Message
Dear Students, Parents, and Members of the Community:
I would personally like to welcome you to Mt. Vernon Jr. High on our web page. Bridging the gap between elementary and high school, MVJHS provides students with a sound instructional program while also helping them through the critical transition from childhood to adolescence.
I, as well as the staff, encourage you to become actively involved in our school whether you are a student, a parent or a community member. Always remember that cooperation and communication between home and school are vital if we are to provide a quality education. Education will be much more effective and enjoyable when dedicated staff, concerned parents, and conscientious students work together to reach common goals.
Again, welcome! We hope your visit to our web site will be helpful and informative.
